When Shells shoved her fingers up my woman’s pussy, I had to grip onto the edge of the bed to keep myself from snapping her neck. It’s a good thing she didn’t take long, because I’m not sure how much longer I could’ve kept myself in check. Luckily, the wand thing over her belly seems to be working. “Children are a miracle,” Dr. Shell says to us giving us a smile. “This one is very active for such a new pregnancy.”

“Takes after his father,” Cam speaks up. This causes pride to swell in my chest. The thought of our baby taking after me in anyway, makes me a happy soon to be father.

“I hope he or she looks exactly like you,” I say sharing my thoughts with her.

“See, and I hope the baby looks just like you,” she turns her head and I see nothing but admiration and love shining in her eyes.

“You’re measuring in at thirteen weeks,” she informs us. I mentally calculate that, and it sounds about right considering we fucked a week before Charlee and Country’s wedding, and she was missing for twelve weeks afterwards. “This would mean you’re due around Christmas time,” she says to us, using this round cardboard device, wheel like thing, to calculate the dates. I lean over to see how she came to that conclusion, she points out the conception date and then points to where the due date shows. Now I’m shaking my head at the prospect of that being able to give us those details.

I help Cam get up and get dressed and I see the doctor printing something. When she hands us these small square things in black and white, I am in awe at the fact that she was able to capture pictures of our small peanut.

“I’ll come back and see you again in four weeks, Cameron. If you need me before then, don’t hesitate to call. Congratulations you two,” she says, gathering her things. As she goes to open the door, Kruger is standing there with a look of murder on his face.

“Need to see you now, Gunner!” he bellows. The hair on the nape of my neck stands on end with the look of vehemence on his face.

“Babe,” I turn to Cam, but she just simply holds up her hand to stop me from saying anything further.

“Go, do your President thing and I’ll go share these pictures with our family.”

“Thanks,” giving her a light brush of my lips on hers, I follow my VP out of the room. “Talk to me,” I say as soon as we’re in the hallway.

“Not here,” he states, and I follow him to my office. Once the door is unlocked and we’re inside, he slams the door shut and goes for a bottle of the good stuff.
